Yaileen is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern at The Meaningful Life Center. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico. Yaileen is bilingual (Spanish and English) and adopts an integrative, client-centered approach to therapy, drawing on various modalities, including Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Expressive Arts Therapy. Her clinical areas of focus include anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and self-confidence, identity development, phase of life changes, ADHD, stress management, career exploration, relationship concerns and Mindfulness. Dedicated to ongoing professional growth, Yaileen is pursuing further specialization in expressive arts therapy through the Expressive Arts Florida Institute, with the goal of becoming a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT) with the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association (IEATA). Her ongoing training enhances her ability to provide a creative and holistic approach to healing. Yaileen is committed to helping clients navigate their mental health challenges with empathy, insight, and personalized care, empowering them to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.
