DBT skills for youth & DBT skills for parents groups
These are concurrent psychoeducation groups for teens ages 13 to 17 and their parents. Over the course of 24 weeks, the group will teach skills related to mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. The curriculum is age appropriate for youth and parents are strongly recommended to attend the parent group concurrently. Members can join the group at any time, as space is available. This group fulfills the group component of the DBT-adherent therapy model. For more information, contact Sarai Denney at sarai@themeaningfullifecenter.com.
Our DBT teen/parent group is provided in-person at our UCF office Wednesday evenings from 6pm-7:30pm.
