Crystal Henrick (she/her/hers), MA is a registered intern at the Meaningful Life Center. Crystal earned a masters in Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in African American studies from Wayne State University. Crystal has a background working with children, adolescents and adults. Crystal’s experience and core therapeutic interests include chemical dependency/addiction recovery, eating disorders, trauma, self esteem, conflict resolution and suicidality. Crystal is certified in CAMS (Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality) and was previously a certified chemical dependency counselor with the Ohio board of chemical dependency. Crystal uses a person centered approach with acceptance and commitment therapy to help individuals regain control over their lives. Crystal works to help individuals discover their core values so that they can live a full, meaningful and fulfilling life they can be proud of.
Crystal’s personal interests include fashion, wardrobe styling, and healthy living. On her off time she enjoys ‘nerd culture’ such as gaming, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Marvel comics, and cosplay.
