Courtney Bishop (she/her/hers) is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling along with a graduate certificate specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy at Rollins College. Her prior education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology focusing on Clinical Psychology, which she earned at the University of Central Florida. She has completed the Gottman Level 1 Training.
Courtney uses a systems lens in her care and explores internal and external influences in her work. She takes an integrative approach, drawing from an eclectic toolkit including acceptance and commitment, cognitive-behavioral interventions, creative expression, and mindfulness practices. Viewing therapy as a collaborative journey, Courtney is enthusiastic about integrating various therapeutic techniques to meet the diverse needs of her clients.
With a passion for mental health advocacy and support, Courtney brings experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and neurodivergent individuals. Her areas of interest include working with individuals of all abilities and identities, anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, and ODD.
