Sabrina Jimenez is a student intern at The Meaningful Life Center and is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Stetson University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University. As a counselor-in-training of Dominican descent, Sabrina is deeply committed to providing culturally inclusive and affirming care, with a particular passion for supporting Latinx individuals and their families. She strives to create a warm, open, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their identities, emotions, and experiences at their own pace. She values authenticity, curiosity, and connection as essential elements of the therapeutic relationship.
Sabrina’s approach to therapy is grounded in person-centered values while drawing from an integrative perspective that is tailored to each client’s unique needs, experiences, and goals. She believes that therapy should be a collaborative and compassionate space, one where clients feel safe, seen, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. Sabrina often reflects on the idea that life itself can feel like a roller coaster: full of unexpected twists and turns and outside of our control. While she may not be able to change the ride, she hopes to be someone who sits beside clients through the ups and downs, offering steady support along the way.
Outside of the counseling space, Sabrina enjoys drawing and exploring the arts, creative writing, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
